Protector No. 10: Unknown

from 15.00

No. 10/10 of the Protector Series: I am selling prints and original drawings of Protectors to raise funds for organizations or causes.

This mysterious Protector, sometimes referred to as The Sustainer, appears to people only in their dreams. The dreams are always similar, and involve a dramatic landscape with a burning red sky, an erupting volcano, and meteors falling from the sky. The planets of our solar system sit immobile in the sand below. The most memorable part of these dreams for people is The Sustainer itself, a large bear-creature with sunken eyes, who stands on its hind legs and stares tranquilly at the dreamer. The dreamer is filled with a profound feeling of calm, and a sense of the interconnectedness of all things in the universe. The dreamer then awakens with a desire to do good in the world, as well as deep reservoirs of energy to do so. It is unclear what specifically this Protector is protecting, or how it chooses whom to visit. But it is clear that The Sustainer is very powerful, and may hold great influence over the future of our planet.

Profits from the sale of the original drawing will go to the organization of your choice.

Profits from the sale of prints will go to the National Alliance to End Homelessness, "a nonprofit, non-partisan, organization committed to preventing and ending homelessness in the United States. By improving policy, building capacity, and educating opinion leaders, the Alliance has become a leading voice on this issue."

The original drawing ($150) is matted and framed in an 11 x 14" frame. Archival prints ($15) are 8.5 x 11", printed on premium Legion Somerset paper.
