Protector No. 1: Truth

from 15.00

No. 1/10 of the Protector Series: I am selling prints and original drawings of Protectors to raise funds for organizations or causes.

The Protector of Truth (also known as the Stone Singer) sees all things for what they really are. Ribbons emerge from its mouth when it sings, on which are stitched the true meaning of anything that is said. The stone it holds in its talons glows red if dishonesty is present. The Stone Singer can be trusted with any secret, and it is good at pointing you in the right direction if you are unsure about the way forward.

Profits will go to The Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press, whose mission is "to protect the right to gather and distribute news; to keep government accountable by ensuring access to public records, meetings, and courtrooms; and to preserve the principles of free speech and unfettered press, as guaranteed by the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution," by offering legal resources, support, and advocacy to reporters.

The original drawing is matted and framed in an 11 x 14" frame. Archival prints are 8.5 x 11", printed on premium Legion Somerset paper.
